5-Day Forecast (4/2/2013)

Sunny Tuesday, wet & cool Thursday

TUESDAY FORECAST DISCUSSION: I hope everyone enjoyed their Monday. There was a few showers, but very few saw the rain. Tuesday will have abundant sunshine but chilly temperatures. Highs will be in the mid 50s and morning lows will be in the low 30s. Some may see patchy frost during the morning hours as well. Clouds will increase on Wednesday with a freeze possible in the morning hours. For this reason, a Freeze Watch has been issued for most of East Tennessee. Highs on Wednesday will be in the upper 50s to lower 60s. Rain chances will increase on Thursday and Friday as a low pressure system moves from the Gulf Coast toward the Atlantic Seaboard. Thursday will be chilly with highs only in the lower 50s. Get ready though, very nice weather will move in for the weekend. Sunshine and warm temperatures in the upper 60s to mid 70s will be expected by Saturday and Sunday. Warm, spring-like weather is right on the horizon! -Meteorologist Jeremy Buckles
