7-Day Forecast (6/14/2013)

Drier, sunnier

FRIDAY FORECAST DISCUSSION: Good news! The severe threat has passed and we are looking ahead to a much nicer Friday and Saturday! Expect to see a lot of sunshine with a few clouds mixed in at times. It will be less humid with highs in the low to mid 80s on Friday. Highs will rebound into the mid to upper 80s on Saturday with continued less humid weather. Another system will affect us into early next week with rain chances increasing on Monday and Tuesday with scattered showers and thunderstorms possible. There could also be an isolated shower or storm on Sunday evening, but most of Sunday should remain dry. If the system stalls near us, we could continue to see the chance of showers or storms last through the middle part of next week, but if it can push far enough south, we may dry out for Wednesday and Thursday. We will continue to monitor the latest and keep you updated. -Meteorologist Jeremy Buckles
